On October 22, 2020 our Murder Mystery in Ancient Egypt teams, put on their detective hats to try and solve the murder related to one of Egypt’s most infamous murders.
The master facilitators from www.teambuilding.com, Jay and Janelle, were fantastic and guided the teams through storytelling, clues and puzzle challenges to discover “who done it”.
Each of our teams were able to participate virtual from the comfort of their homes. Our group from Gould Evans (team name Mystery Mavens) had a great time working together and even came up with a specialty cocktail appropriately named “Murder on the Nile”. The team from Truity Credit Union (team name Nefer-Truity) said they had A LOT of fun and found it to be a fun challenge. They even dressed for the occasion in their Egyptian/Indiana Jones costumes for the event. Our team from Commerce Bank (team name Mummy Issues) came from near and far to participate in the Murder Mystery event. With the event being virtual, team Mummy Issues was able to participate in the event with family members from across the country, which included participants from Lawrence, California, Alabama and Arizona.
All of our teams not only had an awesome time but raised pledges to support our JA programs this school year. We will announce the team winners for each session after all sessions are completed. So check back after our sessions on November 5 to find ALL the winners. There is still time to sign up for the November 5 sessions. Contact Debbie at debbie@kansasja.org to find out detailed information and how to sign up your teams.
